FSD 14 is phenomenal and a step change improvement on FSD 13, which like you say is also amazing.
I stopped paying close attention on highways with version 13. I stopped paying close attention on city streets with version 14.
Just did a 3000 mile west coast road trip for Christmas with version 14.2, and 99.5% of all miles driven were self driving. That remaining 0.5% was almost exclusively looking for street parking. Even parking in parking lots is almost completely hands free now.
Supercharging is easy and fast and really doesn't add much extra time on a long road trip, because you want to get out and stretch legs or eat anyway. And more importantly, the self driving alleviates so much mental burden, that I was inclined to just straightline 15 hours of driving that I would always break into 2 days with manual driving. A Tesla with self driving is the ultimate road trip vehicle as of 2025. Everything else is just stupid and painful.
Like you say, plenty of other cars have better interiors and minor luxuries. Some other EVs now are arguably better than Teslas. But absolutely none of them drive themselves like a Tesla can.
At this point, if a person has the disposable income to buy a luxury car and they're not getting a Tesla with self driving, I assume they're just bad at money and properly prioritizing luxury. No other luxury comes within an order of magnitude of value add that the $8k Tesla self driving package does.
Like you, I'm now an annoying Tesla fanboy and can't stop talking about it.
