Recommend touring the Rookery (and reading Devil in the White City). Old Town Ale House. Ditto, boat tour for architecture. Billy Goat (original) -- see SNL skit. Family that bought the Cubs bought some of these places that would otherwise be out of business, to preserve some tradition. I think that's a great model. Bonci (near Cheval) but maybe just nostalgic for the original.
