I have a Casio Oceanus with many of these features.
Titanium, solar, satellite and iPhone syncing.
Casio says it can adjust to 45-minute time zone differences like in Kathmandu.
My favorite feature is using the second time zone dial as a chronometer. Natural and fast to read 4:15 pm as an elapsed time of 16 hours 15 minutes.
Mine is model OCW-T4000C-3AJF. Reminded me enough of the cool Rolex Milgauss but way cheaper and more functional.

Back to the full conversationThe app works fine. It syncs up to 4 × per day, and manually if you want.
They redesigned the interface and it doesn’t look as good as it used to.
It has a phone finder feature so you can press a special button sequence on the watch and your phone will make a loud noise like ‘find my iPhone’. I don’t really misplace my phone so don’t use that much.
The watch is really light. The bracelet clasp has a slide micro-adjustment to 3 different widths for when your wrist is skinnier or fatter e.g. waterlogged from swimming or showering.
The finish of the watch —bracelet, case, dial—is equal or better to my Swiss ones. So my other watches are all a little neglected now. 😂
I had similar requirements and ended up with the Garmin Aviator (gen 2).
It looks nice, lasts close to 1 week with AOD on and 2 weeks without, and has modern health tracking.
I'm not sure I'd recommend it though. On paper you get best of both worlds with modern software/health tracking features.
But in practice, the software and updates cause more problems (more moving parts):
- a recent update broke the sunset time readout on the watch face, so now it just says Dec 31 is the sunset time
- a second time zone complication is why I wanted the watch.. but this complication has no indicator of am/pm... _maybe_ a software update will fix it
- one of the key features of the aviator model is the GMT bezel, paired with the GMT hand on the watch face. I thought this could be configured to point to an arbitrary time zone of my choosing but this is not actually possible in the software so it always points to GMT
It's still a nice watch, but I think I'll eventually want to opt for something a bit more stable and not so reliant on perfect software.

Cool! I looked at these but didn't realize they sync with the phone. How is the app? Maybe I'll get one before the gear post to test it out. Looks like they do radio, not GPS, but the phone sync may be better than both in some ways.
For people reading, the Oceanus is MUCH thinner than Seiko or Citizen, but otherwise similar dimensions. Looks cool!
