I hadnt given money to a homeless person in years. For two years I would see them everyday - always the sad story and whatnot. I never gave them a cent. One day a homeless guy came up said gday and said he was dying for a beer and only had 50 cents to his name.

I gave the guy $10 because he was honest, it was a shock because one of them finally quit all the pretensions and got straight to the point.
