An interesting life isn't going to make you happy. Happiness is a much worthier cause than being interesting. In any case, I do understand pushing the envelope is a primer for growth, but I don't see where you're going by criticizing a person working for a living. All of these risks you talk about can be done in the workplace or on the weekends. The intiative has to be there, your lifestyle doesn't determine that.
