I also have been using the stir-crazy for a few years. I use a commercial popcorn oil sold at Gordons for popping then dump the popped corn into a paper grocery sack to add a little more oil and salt ground in a food processor then shake the bag and place in a popcorn tin to give to my grandson to bring home, I fill it each week or so.

I used to use a air popper(when all our kids were home) and dumped it into a sack and added popall topping and powdered salt and shook the bag, you couldn't tell it wasn't commercially popped and hardly any unpopped corn. I may go back to that process as the cleanup was nil.
