We have used Stir Crazy's for many years. We've gone through a bunch of them because we use them so much. We pop the corn in Land O' Lakes margarine instead of oil & leave the lid off the butter well. That is the only brand I've found that doesn't burn. That way we don't have to butter the popped corn so it doesn't get soggy. Orville Redenbacker's corn pops much larger and fluffier than regular and is very tasty. It costs more, but for real pop corn lovers, it's worth the extra cost.
