A Travis County Sherrif's Deputy I used to work with told me that there are underground caves & tunnels all over Austin.
Don't believe deputies, they are usually nobodies - basically anyone can get that job. There are two major tunnels under Austin and a couple of smaller ones. There are no caves "all over Austin", there are a few small tiny caves outside downtown.
He was wildly exaggerating to attempt at holding your interest.
