I woke up in a panic, realizing that a) I wasn't tired, and b) my alarm wasn't going off.
I sat up, disappointed that I had already messed it up, and then I looked at my clock - I still had 3 minutes left.
That's right... I woke up 3 minutes early, naturally. I actually checked my calendar, because it feels like I've been sleeping for a long time. This is also the first time I distinctly remember my dream (I was ordering salmon, which incidentally, I'm about to cook).
Perhaps due to my new commitment to not oversleeping, the past 2-3 days have really been great. I had a couple light sleeps in my chair (<1 hour), but the overall quality of both my naps and my awake time continues to increase.
Today, for example, I haven't been tired for the past 24 hours. My minor oversleep of 30 minutes was because I was bored and just spacing out at my computer.
Each nap I've had in the past 24 hours was accompanied by an awesome dream, and naturally ended before my alarm clock. Usually when that happens I get another quick nap in before the alarm goes off, but when I woke up early on my most recent nap, I just got out of bed. The funny thing is that I was SURE that I overslept - I felt great and it seemed like I was in bed for hours.
Day Twenty-Six turned out to be incredible.
Lately, I've been working a practical process to get into "High Creative Mode" -- I think has a high hit-rate for getting into that Mode, but I'm not able to consistently execute it. D26, I did --
Strange opening to the day. Didn't sleep on the 15th to force-normalize my sleep schedule.
Woke up at 12:30AM after roughly 8 hours -- earlier than I expected, but I felt awake and refreshed.
First 90 minutes of day I spent reading, answered a couple emails, surfed the net, had water and coffee, was a little groggy. I'm waking up now.
