hi tynan,

i ran across your web site a few years ago when looking up the costco return policy. i have 4 adult kids and we all got a big laugh out of the penguin and pool thing. my oldest boy had a wallaby for a while so it struck a chord. i am much older than most of your followers but i do get a kick out of your stuff. i restored a 38′ bus coach that is 20 years old so i love rv’s. however mine has a 311 gallon diesel tank and gets 6.5mpg. but i do have a bit more room but parking is a tad harder than with yours. my wife and i spent the summer two years ago going to BC and then down the coast highway all the way and it was a ball.

and i do live in a 6br house so i dont have to pull my bathroom out to use it.

you are very entertaining to read about. happy rv’ing.

Notice you got a little haircut since the summer. Still looks good though!

You never have problems with just parking that on the street all over town?

Hi Tynan – love the video, it’s a great look at your lifestyle. Question – I know you’ve said this 1996 RV is the cat’s meow, but have you seen anything on the more recent market, like in the last couple years, that is comparable? Trying to track down a 1996 model RV can be tough.

I cannot wait until you post those mini e-books! My girlfriend and I have been seriously considering getting an RV and living in it. You’ve quite inspired us. :D All I’ve been doing for the past 2 weeks is researching RV’s (we looked at our first Rialta, a 1998, yesterday and LOVED it!), solar power, etc. I’m having tons of fun learning on my own. I can see why you chose to do this! :) Keep up the great work and thank you so much for sharing it with everyone!

I’ve been hoping for pictures or a video of the inside of your RV since I started reading your blog a couple months ago. Glad to finally see it happen. Looks awesome, very livable. I could totally see myself living like that someday. After reading a lot of the posts on your blog along with your book (Life Nomadic), you’ve inspired me to want to live minimalistically and start traveling. College is sort of standing in my way right now, though (of the traveling part). And, unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like doing both is really possible.

I called Sprint to try and switch back to my SERO plan, but the SERO plan isn’t compatible with the Palm Pre unfortunately. If I were to switch to an eligible phone they would put me back on my Sprint SERO plan which is pretty sweet.
