Ready, SETT, Go!
King Oscar brand but pick the one in olive oil. Best sardines out there. I've tried others and they're unappetizing. King Oscar sardines on toast with a light coating of mayonnaise are very good.
Hi, your island reminded me of a story about an island near my town. You might be interested in reading this: http://www.nytimes.com/2013/08/08/garden/an-island-for-one-with-room-to-share.html?pagewanted=all Even the climates will likely be similar.
Sounds like a great adventure for you!.best wishes
In case you didn't see this- thought of it when I read the Amsterdam entry
The Rijksmuseum (the royal museum) in Holland had an idea: Let's bring the art to the people and then, hopefully, they will come to see more - at the museum.
I think we less and less often find ourselves in situations where we really don't know what we're doing. This is an uncomfortable feeling. Watch a toddler learning how to do very simple things. They just keep trying, get it to work for some reason they don't understand, and then keep trying again til it works. Persistent. I felt like that while working on a new computer with Windows 8. Be like a toddler!
I have occasionally had people thank me for things I did in the past and tell me how much they appreciated it, etc. These same things they found important are sometimes things I don't even remember. Made me realize there are likely people who are resentful and angry about things I also don't even remember. Your former acquaintance story made me think of this.
We're all villains in someone's life story I guess.
