Living in a Small RV: Introduction

On Tynan

When I first bought an RV to live in last year a lot of people thought that it was a phase I would quickly snap out of. Part of me thought the same thing. Would a move from a 2000 square foot condo to a 100 square foot RV be bearable?

As it turned out, it was more than bearable. I loved it. When I left the country to travel, I sold everything including the RV I loved so much. Seven months later, back in Austin and faced with the proposition of finding somewhere to live, the decision was simple.

I wanted another RV, and it had to be even smaller.

In the beginning

On The Lazy Lion

I've never really believed in formal introductions. Even in a blog, you can't really explain who you are straight off in the beginning, and I think rather, it should dawn upon the reader eventually. So this is my Sett. Welcome.

I have a Wordpress blog, to which I add a few posts every week. I'm not going to say it's great content but to be honest, that blog's been feeling very lonely. I've had next to no visitors over the last month. Even so, there's this feeling of passion, or should I say calmness, that comes into you when you're posting on your blog. The WP blog does it to me, and so I've not really wanted to move away from it.

A few months ago (back in 2013) I caught this RV craze. I was watching hours of Youtube and I eventually stumbled onto Tynan's RV tour and afterwards ended up on his blog. My first thoughts were 'damn, this guy is truly living life.' I continued checking out his blog, on a regular basis, until eventually I decided to give Sett a shot. It looked like it was centered on writing but at the same time, there seemed to be a community of readers, standing by, meaning someone somewhere will end up reading one of my posts.

I think I'm going to stop here for now. It's 1.02 am and I'm looking at a long day tomorrow. And yes, I'm lazy.
