Tynan Island

Somewhere off the coast of Central America is an island. Right now it's uninhabited, besides some monkeys. Long beaches reach from the palm trees to the ocean.

The island is many acres in size, so big that if you were in the middle of the jungle you'd forget that you're even on an island. If you looked out from the hills in the middle you'd remember it instantly.

One day that island will be Tynan Island.

Early On a Sunday Morning

On Where Pianos Roam

Just performed a solo set at Revive Coffeehouse here in Nashville last night.  I had a blast.  It turned out to be a very fun set.  I also did a new cover song that I'd been working on, and it was very well received.  Some people even bought my CD!!  (Thank goodness!) I am now gearing up to do shows in Charlotte, NC.  It feels like a homecoming for me.  I'll be able to reconnect with old friends and perform the music from my new album.  I can't wait.  It'll be nice to head out of Nashville for a while.  Last night, I ate a breakfast burrito at Qdoba's for the very first time.  It was THE BOMB!!!!  It's no secret that I love food, and boy, this was a winner!!!!  (And it was huge too!!!) Some folks from last night's show invited me to a nearby bar for some drinks afterwards, and I said sure, why not?  I wound up having something called "Liquid Valium".  I was told it is a better tasting version of Long Island Ice Tea.  After two of these drinks, I was certifiably drunk.  This of course brought on the excursion to Qdoba in a futile attempt to sober me up with some food.  It didn't work, but man, that was a really good burrito!! I  have a slight head ache this morning, and I am now needing to head out.  I am playing at a private party tonight as well.  I need to research on how to get through a mild hangover. Hope you have a wonderful week!! I'd leave a flower, but well, my head hurts.  I'll leave one later. Hugs, -g
