Check out my bestselling book on habits, Superhuman by Habit. .
A couple things:
If I'm on a page on your blog (or the community portion or whatever), I'd really like to be able to click the top button to return back to your blog specifically. Idk if that's being implemented currently (since the button doesn't work right now at all) but I know a few days ago it took me to the SETT homepage rather than Tynan.com.
Also, sometimes it randomly logs me off.
Now to find a way to hack this site while it's still fresh!
Or as my favorite band puts it, out of the jar: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jThi78NzKC8
I have a bit of money saved up. I am about to quit my job, thereby losing my recurring income, but hopefully the amount I have saved is enough to pull of this plan:
First, I'm going to start traveling the world. I plan to leave for Thailand in mid-April and never come back. Well, I'll stop by the States on occasion (I have two different weddings to attend in July, if nothing else). On my way around the world I want to build a lifestyle business that can make this exploration continue indefinitely. I have basically no practical skills, but a high IQ, I'm pretty darn personable and handsome and all that jazz (former porn star, competitive dancer, youngest ever invited lecturer at the Worldwide Center of Mathematics), and when I'm under pressure, I shine like the sun. Right now I'm working a bullshit personal assistant/executive director of a philanthropic fund job that requires basically no effort or intelligence, so I'm not under any pressure, and so I feel like a lump of coal rather than the diamond I know I can be. I'm hoping that by traveling I'll be able to douse myself in that wonderful eustress that gets me to actually get shit done, and then get some shit done and build that lifestyle business that I'll need, before I'll actually need it. And all from a beachhouse in Thailand or what have you.
I'm sure this is already on the docket but some ideas:
I really liked the Archives on the past Tynan site. Reading through all the old posts would be rather difficult in this new setup.
I noticed there's no website URL for commenter's profile now which is how I came across a lot of other interesting people, would be nice to put in.
Started reading it. Like it alot
Been a loyal reader for a couple months now, keep up the good work. I'm digging the recent changes to the design.
Everything looks great so far, congratulations for getting this up and running!
Hey Tynan, so I've read your books, I follow your blog and I have to say props on your SETT! It sleek, its shiny, its new and I have an idea for it. So backstory. I just got back from spring break. I go to UF. I'm from the small town of Niceville, Florida and I had this scheme. One week before SB'12, I dreamt up an adventure. I was sitting in the library, looking outside and decided in that moment that for spring break I would circumnavigate Florida. 5 days, 7 beaches, 9 cities, 1 pair of rainbow coloured board shorts. It. Was. Brilliant. I jumped from one friend's house to another, met their hometown friends, went to their bars, eat dinner with their families, basked on their beaches and learned one important thing about life. People are important. And I'd have to say that from reading your works that you would agree. So back to the present. I'm in the library again, at the same computer and I have three tabs open: your site, Facebook and http://www.kony2012.com. Now if you haven't been to the last site in the list, check it out. Basically its propaganda. And I want you to be a part of it. I want you to promote SETT by using KONY 2012. Essentially show how powerful SETT is by promoting KONY 2012. Blogging is how you spread ideas, typically the best blogs have the largest audience and typically you get the largest audience because you have the the best platform. I know you want to prove that SETT is the best platform. So help inspire others while promoting your work. -Cody PK
Really cool stuff....Nice to see your new platform... And thanks for writing the Tokyo article for us... The Sunday Indian magazine.... Cheers.... :)
It was an adventure to figure out how to post this - anytime I clicked anywhere on the register page it disappeared
thankfully I already had an account, but that might be the reason I'm the first person to post here ;)
