Not SF, but if you're trying to wean yourself off of meat, have you tried going on a juice fast?

I'm the biggest omnivore in the world, but just recently unintentionally became vegan. Bought a juicer and started juicing for the health benefits, but because I haven't had any of my usual foods since, my body's changed to accept this as the new norm.

The biggest obstacle to me was how difficult it was replacing the volume of food I was eating and doing it with sustainable alternatives. Now I have a bowl of tofu and mushrooms and it is just as if I had been eating a steak dinner.

So, yeah. Try going on a juice fast if you're weaning yourself off meat. Meatless for almost a full month now, and not going back.

Nice. It was my first time doing Ethopian. The bread felt like skin, but was pretty good.

Arggh, as much as I love Sett its buggy on iOS and I couldn't type enter or any more spaces. Anyway, me, normal Tynan follower, travel, blog, that stuff. Roommate the same, photographer. I'd love to make this a regular thing for meatless Mondays. I'm always eating meat, but know weaning off it is the right thing to do so trying to get excited about some meatless stuff.

Thanksgiving

I'm awful at expressing it (an opinion frequently voiced by the ladies who have spent any amount of time in my life), but I'm a very grateful person. I feel like most of my happiness and success comes from my friends, family, acquaintances, and even the random strangers who I meet on the street or who IM me. So now, in the spirit of Thanksgiving, I'm going to thank every single person I can think of. I hesitate to do this because I can be forgetful and I may accidentally leave out someone important.
