It was an adventure to figure out how to post this - anytime I clicked anywhere on the register page it disappeared
thankfully I already had an account, but that might be the reason I'm the first person to post here ;)
Actually, the site's only been live for about 2 minutes. Welcome!
I know what the problem is... working on it...
congrats on launching!
i'm finding the "read this next" to be a bit distracting from the comments when using 1366x768.
i'd also feature creep and say clicking on a comment should do some type of "jquery-powered" expander instead of going to a new page. took me a sec to realize I was replying to an individual comment and not the main thread.
also, just noticed clicking the sett button seems to stay stuck at "going home" after the action is complete.
that "going home" bug seems to only happen if you go straight to tynan.com, works okay when you go straight via sett.com
Thanks for the feedback... all is being considered :)
Not sure exactly what you mean with the jquery powered expander thing... clicking a comment in what context?
i meant clicking a comment to see all of that comments replies.
i.e. user sees a comment in main thread, notices other reply icons, clicks it. Instead of bringing him to a new page, his comment "expands" on the current page to show the other replies.
also: even if the above doesn't make sense, you might want to add a reddit-esque "context" link in the comment to go back to the main thread. I clicked into this comment from a notification email, but couldn't find a way to get back to the main discussion thread.
Here's a new song I made for my friend Kristen. She made me a CD of her favorite music and drew on it (she's an artist). In an effort to convert her to the gangsta side, I made her a CD with rap on it. Since I can't draw I made her a track for the intro. You can listen to it.
I think my rapping style is improving. I still want to take voice lessons to get my voice more in tune. In case you didn't read the earlier post, the song references the rattlesnake incident.
I wouldn't normally post an image with so many technical issues, but it still evokes to me how it felt to be standing outside the stadium in the rain.
